Event: Are YOU a Lunar-tic?
Event Description: After a brief overview of the history of the Apollo program and Lunar exploration, teachers will participate in hands-on activities while exploring some of the unanswered questions about the Moon and NASA’s plans to return there. State certified educators will be given a security briefing and be certified to borrow actual Lunar and Meteorite samples from NASA. NASA educational resources and materials will be distributed. Door Prizes! Sunshine State Standards SC.E.1.1; SC.E.1.2. SC.E.2.1; SC.E.2.2, SC.E.1.3; SC.E.2.3, SC.E.1.4; SC.E.2.
