NASA's Virtual Lab

NASA, in partnership with Beckman Institute, have created a free, open-source program called Virtual Lab. Virtual Lab simulates sophisticated science instruments such as the Scanning Electron Microscope, Energy Dispersive Spectrometer, Atomic Force Microscope, and a Light Microscope. NASA has partnered with UCF to develop a website for teacher support in integrating this exciting tool into the classroom. Visit the Beckman site to download the software.
